Foraging, harvesting, planting, experiential learning activities, story-time, nature crafts, cooking, animal interaction, free play, bonding and more!

Sold per week, per child. 15% sliding scale if requested. Click on option at checkout.

Choose quantity of days ($20 per day/week, per child) and click which dates in checkout form.

Parents welcome to join and participate or stay and get their own work done and enjoy the farm. Only Parents or Guardians and sibling infants are allowed on the farm during programs.

Please send along lunch and water bottle. Garden willing, Snacks will be made from our harvested veggies! (Allergies observed)

What will Homeschool Fridays be?

Led by Montessori Mom, Ms. Melanny (Bio on Board page)

Each week will have a new theme and will include fun activities including:

Garden Tours and Nature Walks

Harvesting and creating snacks together

Bird and Bug Finding

Nature art with mud, clay, leaves & more

Learning how to whittle and use a hammer

Meeting farm and exotic animals at Lilac Hedge

Listening and identifying the sounds on a farm

Free Play and Exploration in the garden

Using new tools like shovels and rakes

Learning how to and creating compost

Painting and coloring the things in a garden

Nature journaling

Challenge Games around the garden

We may get dirty so if there has been rain, bring mud boots and if it is raining, send along a raincoat. We are mostly outdoors for our programs. Dress for the weather, layers recommended in spring and fall. Sunscreen, bug spray and a towel are great in their backpack too!
